Ahoy, Mateys! Cast off and join us for the grandest event of the Space Coast Pirate & Seafood Festival: The Pirate Ball. Set against the stunning backdrop of Space Coast Daily Park in Viera, FL.

An Unforgettable Evening Awaits

Let the adventure begin, with an evening that harkens back to the glory days of Pirate Festivals! 

Our guests shall be graciously welcomed at the gate by your hosts, The Lord Governor and his beautiful wife, Lord and Lady Hyde, and the inhabitants of our Pirate haven, and the gates shall be thrown wide open to the sound of cannons!

Then, the family friendly merriment shall ensue, from 5pm to 7pm there will be an encampment preview of the amazing things to come over the next two fun-filled days. There shall be continuous music on the main stage throughout the event, along with vendors and craftsman with amazing wares, and delectable and delicious foods for purchase, and the pub, of course, shall be open for business!

Embrace the Pirate Spirit

At 7pm, the Pirate Ball shall officially commence, with much music, dancing, revelry, comedy, frivolity, and camaraderie for all, as we put the jolly in Jolly Roger! Our cast of costumed characters shall be in attendance, and we invite you to join them in celebration!

Our Pirate Ball is not like the soirées held at Hampton Court or Kensington Palaces, and not meant as a stodgy formal fête, but a festive bash to entertain Pirates and Privateers alike, and all our guests of all classes and origins! We always encourage our visitors to embrace the theme of the event, or their own aesthetic, whether it is in this case pirate inspired, or perhaps a favourite cosplay, or any other genre they desire (as long as it is, of course, in keeping with festival and community standards). However, it is absolutely not necessary to do so, and is a personal choice of each attendee to wear whatever makes them comfortable.

The Pirate Ball Highlights

• Live Music and Dancing: Be transported to the high seas as live maritime melodies fill the air. The dance floor beckons, inviting all to join in the revelry. Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a novice, you’ll find your rhythm here.

• Revelry and Comedy: Prepare for hearty laughter as comedic entertainers regale you with tales of pirate misadventures. Let your worries drift away on the waves of laughter and good cheer.

• Frivolity and Camaraderie: Forge new friendships and celebrate the spirit of togetherness. Connect with fellow pirates and festival-goers in an atmosphere filled with camaraderie and merriment.

• Pub Sing: At 10:00 PM, the merriment continues with our “Pub Sing.” Raise your voices in song and celebrate the sea shanties and maritime melodies that have echoed through the ages until we bid farewell for the evening at 11pm, but only until we reopen at 11am Saturday for a full day and night of piratical adventure and surprises!
